Arizona gained a Congressional seat with the last census. The redistricting committee designed the Congressional map to look like a vortex sucking all the state's resources into Phoenix.
The href="http://arizonacolor.us/dir/district1" title="Arizona First Congressional District">First District includes Northeast Arizona, the 2nd District the Southeast Corner, the 3rd District the Southwest Corner, the 4th District the Northwest Corner. The other five districts swirl into downtown Phoenix.
